Angela Gonzalez, owner and baker, Dial-a-Dessert

A flair for art and design and a passion for travel and extraordinary food guide my journey, seeking out the treasures in life wherever I go—from French tulip bulbs and Moroccan ceramics to handcrafted Colombian folk-art, the most authentic South American cornmeal arepas, and lime-spiked caipirinha cocktails.

My enthusiasm for cooking traces back to my childhood kitchen in Bogotá where my father taught me to make caramel-laced flan from a treasured family recipe. Dial-a-Dessert is the evolution of that sweet-loving niña from architect and designer, world-traveller, wife and mother, lover of food and dogs named Milo, to pastry chef.

Training at The French Culinary Institute of California, interning at Chez TJ in Mountain View, and teaching cooking classes at Sur La table round out my experience.

An eclectic mix of creativity, fun, and sweet goodness is poured into every mixing bowl at Dial-a-Dessert.  Enjoy!
